1) Screwcentercolumnontocouplingattopofxturebody.
2) Settoptrimontotopofcentercolumn.
3) Screwloopontothreadedpipeattopofcentercolumn.
4) TURN OFF POWER.
IMPORTANT:Beforeyoustart,NEVERattemptanywork
withoutshuttingofftheelectricityuntiltheworkisdone.
a) Gotothemainfuse,orcircuitbreaker,boxinyourhome.
Placethemainpowerswitchinthe“OFF”position.
b) Unscrewthefuse(s),orswitch“OFF”thecircuitbreaker
switch(s),thatcontrolthepowertothextureorroomthat
youareworkingon.
c) Placethewallswitchinthe“OFF”position.Ifthextureto
bereplacedhasaswitchorpullchain,placethoseinthe
“OFF”position.
5) Takethreadedpipefrompartsbagandscrewinscrewcollarloop
aminimumof6mm(1/4”).Lockintoplacewithhexnut.
6) Runanotherhexnutdownthreadedpipealmosttouchingrst
hexnut.Nowscrewthreadedpipeintomountingstrap.
Mountingstrapmustbepositionedwithextrudedthreadfaced
intooutletbox.Threadedpipemustprotrudeouttheback
ofmountingstrap.Connectmountingstraptooutletbox.
7) Unscrewthethreadedringfromscrewcollarloop.Take
canopyandpassoverscrewcollarloop.Approximatelyonehalf
ofthescrewcollarloopexteriorthreadsshouldbeexposed.
Adjustscrewcollarloopbyturningassemblyupordownin
mountingstrap.Removecanopy.
8) Afterdesiredpositionisfound,tightentophexnutupagainst
thebottomofthemountingstrap.
9) Slipcanopyoverscrewcollarloopandthreadonthreadedring.
Attachchain(withxtureconnected)tobottomofscrewcollar
loop.Unscrewthreadedring,letcanopyandthreadedringslip
down.
10) Weaveelectricalwireandgroundwirethroughchainlinksno
morethan3inchesapart.Passwirethroughthreadedring,
canopy,screwcollarloop,threadedpipeandintooutletbox.
11) Connectxturegroundwiretooutletboxgroundwirewith
wireconnector.(Notprovided.)Neverconnectgroundwireto
blackorwhitepowersupplywire.
12) Makewireconnections(connectorsnotprovided).Reference
chartbelowforcorrectconnectionsandwireaccordingly.
13) Raisecanopytoceiling.
14) Securecanopyinplacebytighteningthreadedringontoscrew
collarloop.
15) Setglassthenspaceroversocket.
16) Screwsocketringontosocketstosecureglassinplace.
17) Insertrecommendedbulb.CAUTION: DONOTtouchbulb
withbarehands.Ifthishappens,cleanbulbwithdenatured
alcoholandalintfreecloth.
18) Slipglasssleeveoverbulb.
